I am a Individual and couples therapist. My approach synthesises Psychoanalytic, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioral ( CBT) approaches. I tend to work in depth with clients and work with complexity and have undergone a UKCP accredited training.
My qualifications are:

Msc in Integrative Psychotherapy
Advanced diploma in working with trauma
Certificate in clinical supervision
Certificate in Couples Counselling
MA in social work
One years specialist child training including infant observation
Floor time 101: Working with Autistic children
Recent CPD includes Richard Erskine's training on 'Relational psychotherapy' ; Viv Broughton's on 'identify' and Dr Clare Slaney's on 'shame'
I have undergone 6 years of robust therapy training which has included many years of personal therapy and supervision.

Over 5,000 clinical hours of experience with adults, families and couples
Over 800 clinical hours of experience with children
Former manager of a mental health charity
Lead Therapist at primary schools and a children's home
Former Lecturer in psychotherapy and counselling ( Msc and foundation degree programmes)
Our initial appointment will be an opportunity to discuss the way I work and, importantly, what you are looking for and need from psychotherapy. It is on this basis we will decide whether we can work together. I am an accredited practitioner with the Foundation for Infant Loss and am also on the approved register of counsellors for the Police Firearms Association.
Areas of Specialism
I provide counselling for eating disorders, anger counselling, bereavement counselling, marriage counselling, Suicidal feelings, relationship counselling and counselling for anxiety and depression. I have extensive training and experience in all of these areas.
I provide counselling for self-harm and counselling for addictions and work with children, adults, families and couples.
